Your 5-minute morning brief
Not a link dump. The morning edition leads with the one thing that matters, says why in two sentences, and links the primary document. Then the ledger delta — what moved overnight, including any claim that went from unverified to confirmed. Then a short list of everything else, each item one line. If it is a quiet night, the email is short and says so. We do not pad to fill a template.
What Pro actually does
Four months of incident reporting is only useful if you can ask questions of it. The dashboard is one index over every incident, article, vendor development, conference highlight and open vulnerability we hold — searchable in full text, filterable by type, severity and verification status, and exportable to CSV.
The part people actually use daily is the watchlist. Add the organisations that matter to your position — competitors, the vendors in your stack, your largest customers — and the board filters to them and counts every appearance. It answers the question a security or product lead is asked in every Monday meeting: has anything happened to anyone we depend on?

Questions
Is the website still free to read?
Yes. Every article, the public incident ledger and the events pages are open to everyone, with no metered paywall. We would rather be read than be gated, and a publication nobody can find is not much of a publication. What you pay for is delivery and tooling: the briefing landing before your working day starts, and a dashboard that turns the archive into something you can query. If that ever changes, we will say so here first.
Who funds this?
You do, and only you. We take no advertising, no sponsored content and no vendor money of any kind. There is no branded series, no paid webinar, no "in partnership with". For a publication that reports on security vendors, that is the only structure under which the reporting is worth reading — the moment a company can buy a place here, every sentence about that company becomes unreadable, including the true ones.
What exactly is the dashboard?
A single searchable index over everything we hold — every incident, article, vendor development, conference highlight and open vulnerability. You add the organisations you care about to a watchlist, and the board filters to them: competitors, your vendors, your customers, the companies in your supply chain. Search is full-text across all of it, filterable by type, severity and whether a claim is confirmed or still unverified. Any view exports to CSV in one click.
Where is my watchlist stored?
In your browser, in local storage. It is never sent to us and we have no way to see which companies you track. For a publication read by security teams, that seemed like the only defensible design — your watchlist would tell us a great deal about your commercial position, and we would rather not hold it.
Does paying change what you publish?
No. Subscribing buys you delivery and tooling, not influence. If your company is subscribed and your company has an incident, we report it — and the fact that you are a customer will not appear in the newsroom's thinking, because the newsroom does not have the subscriber list.
What do you do with my email address?
Send you what you subscribed to. Nothing else. We do not sell reader data and we have no advertisers to sell it to. No third-party tracking runs on this site.
Can I expense this?
Yes. Pro and Team produce a proper VAT invoice — enter your company name and VAT number at checkout and it appears on the invoice. Team can be invoiced annually against a purchase order; email the desk. At €39/month, Pro sits inside most individual tool budgets without approval.
What if I cancel?
One click, from the link in any receipt. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you already paid for, then stops. No retention call, no email asking you to reconsider.
Do you offer discounts?
Free Pro for students, public-sector CERT staff, and journalists covering this beat — email the desk from an institutional address. Anyone who genuinely cannot afford it and needs it for work should ask; we would rather have the reader.
Payments, tax and data. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for this subscription and calculates, collects and remits VAT, GST and sales tax in over 80 countries. Your receipt and VAT invoice come from Stripe and show Sold through alongside our name — that is expected, and the invoice is valid for expensing. We never see or store your card details. You can cancel or update your card at any time from the link in any receipt, with no need to contact us. To export or delete your data, email the desk.
